WoW Expansion LEGION Announced!

World of Warcraft: Legion is going to be the new expansion to WoW following Warlords of Draenor. Gul'dan is back, and he's got something more sinister than the Iron Horde to bring to the table. Reintroducing, the Burning Legion making its way into Azeroth! The level cap is raised to 110, and there's a new hero class, Demon Hunter! Players will conquer the new zone Broken Isles to reach the Tomb of Sargeras. There will be a new honor system (v3). Players will fight new enemies to acquire the Pillars of Creation (Titan Relics) to stop the Burning Legion. Dalaran will play as the new pivotal central hub in the expansion, and players will finally get to explore the Emerald Dream! New weapons, Artifacts, are being introduced for each playable class and specialization (36 in total). Dungeons will play a stronger role in this expansion, while the 2 raids announced will have an equal number of bosses compared to WoW:WOD. The new dungeons include: Halls of Valor, Black Rook Hold, Vault of the Wardens, Eye of Azshara, Darkheart Thicket, Neltharion's Lair, Helheim, Suramar City, and Violet Hold. The new raids include: Emerald Nightmare and Suramar Palace, each with 7 and 10 bosses respectively. The new Demon Hunter class will feature both a dps and a tank specialization. The new honor system will leverage a prestige system whereby players can unlock abilities and enhancements to their skills by leveling through the honor system. Players can also unlock special in-game cosmetics and items through the prestige system. -- Watch live at
