Players create characters with backgrounds, motivations, and personalities, and interact with other players in-game as if they were living in the fantasy world of Azeroth. RP can take place in a variety of forms, from one-on-one conversations to large-scale events, and can range from serious, story-driven roleplay to lighthearted, social roleplay. WoW RP communities can be found on servers dedicated to roleplaying, and players can also join guilds specifically made for RP.
