And now we warlocks have downed KJ aswell!
Now the big KJ hit the dust! Might not be as many wipes as alot of other bosses. But i approached this one very differently than i do other fights. Where i just jump into everything and sees what it does. This fight is designed to last about 15 minutes while being brutal as all hell. So i started working around his abilities before i started on Tomb itself. For when i eventually came to him. Even then it took me a few tries and i had to farm a tanking trinket for it to be doable. There are 3 that i would suggest for any other caster to go for. The Bloodthirsty Urchin was the first one i got, which works super well with soul leech so was the one i used for the kill. However if you can get your hand on the Diamond-laced prism from the opulence in BoD or Edict of the Faithless from court (Aslong as you set it to magic damage, since Armageddons are fire damage. I really think this will work, and with the timing of the spell. It looks like maybe the strongest option in normal raid level.) Is the biggest gear requirement, for speccing currently you want to go full survival. Even though that means you lose out on your instaport or burning rush. Which both would be super helpful. But you really need as much survival as you can get so a gateway will have to do.
For the fight itself, there are only two real weaknesses of doing this as a lock, and due to how we have to spec. That's the lack of a in air port or jump or whatever to break the Singularity knockback. Aswell as really low mobility. However it's still very much possible even with those hindrances.
Also i tried writing strats down for each phase but it turned out to be far to long for youtube. So i'll do it like this instead, if there is any questions. Poke me, and i'll do my best to answer it.
Also thanks to Kaylzara for helping me getting a tank trinket this quickly! Without that, it would've been impossible.
And that leaves Tomb finished for now. Avatar seems a tiny bit to rough atm, allthough he will die next patch. I will probably attempt him again a few times before crossing him completely off the list. Allthough the maingoal is leaving Gul'dan and Avatar be for now, and head onto Antorus soon and start clearing out that place. Aswell as very likely some bosses in Uldir aswell soon.
Music:
First song used is Conquer by Shane Ivers
Second theme is Kil'jaedens very own soundtrack.
Third theme is Ready For Doomsday - by WarAddict
