The Cinematic History of World of Warcraft - Episode 6: Rise of the Undead
1 145
This video shows the narrative arc from Blizzard's third Warcraft game, Warcraft: Reign of Chaos in a cinematic and lore cohesive order. This video uses the content of newest Warcraft remake, Warcraft: Reforged, which includes all of the campaigns of the Warcraft III storyline. For a better viewing quality and pleasure, we decided to use Reforged content.
This video contains the second full campaign after the prologue. It follows the journey of Arthas, the son of King Terenas (the king of Human Kingdom of Lordaeron), after he obtained the Frostmourne in Northrend and killing his father.
Useful facts:
- We recommend reading these facts after you have watched the story if you don't want to be spoiled about some details. -
- It is unknown where the meeting spot for Dreadlord's meeting in Dreadlords Convene chapter is, but the map contains a Spitting Spider and a Death Revenant as well as several Abominations and Acolytes. A likely candidate is Nathreza, the nathrezim homeworld (homeworld of the dreadlords), which hasn't been explored in World of Warcraft as of this date.
|
- The version of Dalaran which Archimonde destroys at the end of the campaign was located in Arathi Highlands during the third war. Instead of the city, there now lies an empty crater called "Dalaran Crater" which was shaped with the destruction of Dalaran by Archimonde. Mages in World of Warcraft can learn a portal spell that takes the players to this old location of Dalaran, the Dalaran Crater.
